Glass artist James Michael Kahle and a group of volunteers have formed a not-for-profit organization, Arts for Community Enrichment (ACE), to raise funds in support of teaching, promotion and recognition of the arts. During the past decade more than 3,000 students and others have participated in the Hot Glass Experience at Kahle's studio in Rockford.
