The business owning Breakaway RecPlex has won a lawsuit against the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) over flooding the business said was worsened by the West Bank spillway, which opened in 1997.
A separate Celina utility for storm water control could be created as soon as September, if all goes as planned. If so, all residential and commercial property owners in the city can expect to be assessed a small monthly fee on their utility bill.
A staggering $62.4 million would be needed to repair, replace and improve Celina city's storm water system over a 20-year period, according to the city engineering department.
COLDWATER- The Community Hospital's Board of Governors unanimously agreed Wednesday to purchase new phaco equipment and accessories for $63,000. The equipment is used by eye doctors in cataract removal surgery.
