Celina city officials this morning gave a demonstration of how much sidewalk would be reduced if Celina keeps angled parking. Because of state requirements, city sidewalks would be 4 feet narrower on both sides of Main Street if it retains angled parking. Parallel parking, however, would result in a 2-foot reduction of sidewalks on both sides of the street.
