MINSTER - Financial officer John Stechschulte unveiled 2009 appropriations totaling nearly $18.6 million which village councilors approved Tuesday night after a line-by-line presentation. Several projects will remain tabled for the time being and the likelihood of decreasing income tax revenue.

Versailles used a big second quarter to get the lead and pull away from St. Henry for a 46-41 win in a rescheduled Midwest Athletic Conference girls basketball contest on Tuesday night at Tiger Gymnasium.
The Celina girls basketball team attacked the Lima Senior fullcourt pressure defense, and didn't let up until the game was well out of hand.
