Lucille Clay
Lucille Clay, 101, Celina and formerly of Troy, died at 8:05 p.m. Oct. 29, 2010, at The Garden of St. Henry in St. Henry.
She was born Jan. 11, 1909, in Bourbon County, Ky., to Harry and Blanche Kenney Linville. She married Chelsea Clay, who died in March 1964.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Jean Hobbs, Tampa, Fla., and Ramona (Rev. Eugene) Kimmel, Celina; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 22 great-great-grandchildren and five great-great-great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are two sons, Harry William and John Raymond Ormes; and two grandchildren.
She retired in 1965 as a welding rod inspector at Hobart Brothers in Troy. She was a member of the Calvary Chapel Baptist church in Minster. She also taught Sunday school at Troy Baptist Temple from 1961 to 1996.
Graveside services are noon Tuesday at Hardins' Creek Cemetery in Leesburg, the Rev. Dan Williams officiating.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. today at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home in Troy.
