Carl Ransbottom
Carl Dennis Ransbottom, 73, Celina, died at 3:27 p.m. Sept. 29, 2011, at The Gardens in Celina.
He was born Nov. 26, 1937, in Celina to Clifford M. and Kathlene E. Chapman Ransbottom.
Surviving are four children, Lori Smith, David Ransbottom and Chris Ransbottom, all of Columbus, and Renee Ransbottom, Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Sue Ransbottom (Sam McGuire), Elida, and Peggy (Don) Wrinkle, Tampa, Fla.
He was a former music director at Celina City Schools and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Celina, and Sigma Nu Fraternity. A 1955 graduate of Celina High School, he earned a master's degree in music from The Ohio State University.
Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Oct. 15 at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jeff Conrad officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. Oct. 15 at the funeral home.
