LIMA - Things went right for Celina in the first half against Bath. Solid passing and strong shooting had the Bulldogs up 27-24 at the half of the Division II sectional final.
Second half, Taren Sullivan found his shooting touch, hitting six three-pointers in the second half to lead Bath to a 66-51 comeback win at Lima Senior High School on Friday night. [More]

Mendon
MENDON - William N. Snider, mayor of Mendon and a 50-year member of the Mendon Fire Department, died Feb. 27 at the age of 70.
His widow, Caral Snider, remembers her husband as a man who was totally dedicated to his family and community, particularly the fire department.

Coldwater's Justin Post assured himself a second trip to the podium with the chance to earn the highest finish in the history of the wrestling program after winning twice on Friday in the Division III state wrestling tournament in Columbus.
