CELINA - Mercer County has landed a $300,000 state grant to restore 3,000 feet of Beaver Creek that runs through the Mercer County Elks golf course on U.S. 127 south of Celina.

MINSTER - Despite being out-hit 6-3, Minster came up with a few more clutch plays and advanced to the next round in the Division IV baseball postseason with a 5-1 victory over Marion Local on Thursday at Hanover Street Park.
