William "Rusty" Cottrel portrays Chief Black Hoof, leader of the Shawnee people, during his presentation of History through Native Eyes on Monday at the St. Marys Community Public Library. A large crowd gathered to hear Cottrell, who has been portraying Chief Black Hoof for 13 years, tell the story of the great Shawnee leader's life.
