CELINA - A Mercer County Sheriff's Office K-9 received a paw injury in the line of duty and will be temporarily out of service.
Franko, a German shepherd, and his handler, Deputy Kevin Wynk, were assisting in tracking an individual involved in a vehicle pursuit with the Celina Police Department on Saturday. The pursuit reportedly ended near the corner of U.S. 33 and Celina-Mendon Road. [More]
