Vassar, Montgomery bring high-energy performances to fair

CELINA - "The party's here, baby," Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry told the crowd as he walked on stage with his band.
One heck of a party it was, too, with a guest list just south of 4,000.
Roughly 91% of the tickets were sold for Friday's Montgomery Gentry-Phil Vassar show at the Mercer County Fairgrounds, a fair official said before the show. [More]
