The Celina girls and St. Marys boys reached the championship round of the 17th Ohio High School State Invitational Kick-Off bowling tournament held Saturday at HP Lanes in Columbus.

Damon McCracken's 25-yard field goal with nine seconds remaining in regulation lifted Van Wert to its first-ever state football championship in defeating Mentor Lake Catholic 31-28 in the Division IV state championship game on Sunday afternoon in Massillon.
