CELINA - City council members on Tuesday night voted 4-3 against legislation that would have made Celina a sanctuary city for the unborn and effectively outlawed abortion in the city.
The ordinance is now officially defeated after three public readings that brought out massive crowds of people who gave hours of impassioned testimony in support of and against the legislation. [More]
Both accidents on U.S. 127

DUBLIN TOWNSHIP - Two people were killed in separate traffic accidents Monday on U.S. 127 that occurred within seven hours of each other.
The first accident occurred at approximately 2:10 a.m. near milepost 22 in Dublin Township, according to a news release from the Wapakoneta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Ned L. Hileman, 78, Rockford, was operating a GMC Canyon pickup truck northbound on U.S. 127. Tyler A. Wellman, 32, Celina, was operating a semi-trailer while traveling south. [More]

CELINA - A Bradford man involved in a traffic accident that killed a Coldwater woman in September 2020 was found guilty Monday of two misdemeanor charges following a bench trial in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
Funds would build treatment train
