Roughly 25 people, including representatives of county environmental offices and members of the Langenkamp family, attended the public opening of the Burntwood-Langenkamp Wetland Conservation project on Thursday.

Three in running for seat on SWCD
MARIA STEIN - The race for Mercer Soil and Water Conservation District District board supervisor is officially on.
Voting began Tuesday during the annual Mercer SWCD meeting on Tuesday at Moeller Brew Barn.
Area veterans recognized at Auglaize County Fair
WAPAKONETA - The Auglaize County Fair saluted the area's men and women who served their country with Veterans Day on Thursday.
In addition to gaining admittance to the fair free of charge, veterans were treated to a program honoring their commitment in the armed forces and a free meal.
