Students jump for the money | ||||
| ||||
Coldwater Elementary School students recently raised more than $10,000 in the Jump Rope for Heart fund-raiser for the American Heart Association. For a straight donation pledge, students agreed to jump rope for one to three hours. First-grader Ashlyn Stolz was top money maker at $200. All participants received certificates and stickers, and depending on the amount raised, t-shirts, clocks, radios and other prizes were awarded. Elementary school physical education teacher Ken Fisher, at right, supervised the project. |
