By From staff reports newsroom@dailystandard.com Butler, headed to Ohio State on a basketball scholarship, was named the player of the year in the WBL after averaging nearly 32 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds per game for the Indians, who tied with Ottawa-Glandorf for the WBL championship. The Grand Lake area had two representatives in Celina’s Tim Homan and St. Marys’ Scott Vossler joining Butler on the WBL first team along with Jermaine Bratton (Shawnee), Tim Pollitz (O-G), Eric Pollitz (O-G), L.J. Helton (Defiance), Rian Rainey (Van Wert), Kyle Holiday (Van Wert), Dustin Mathias (Elida) and Austin McCormick (Wapakoneta).
