Renee Eyink, a registered dietitian with the Mercer County Women, Infants and Children program, weighs 2-year-old Alexa Billger of Celina. After taking her client's weight and height, Eyink checks a body mass index (BMI) chart. Alexa was at 50 percent BMI, just right for a child her age, Eyink noted. A child is considered high-risk for obesity if his or her BMI is over the 95 percentile mark. Purchase this as a quality photograph |
