| Richard Miller perches his lips prior to spitting a sunflower seed into a bucket a few feet away for a contest held at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home in Coldwater last week. The contest was part of a weeklong celebration for National Nursing Home Week. Miller successfully won after spitting four seeds into the bucket. A spokeswoman for Briarwood said contestants were supposed to spit watermelon seeds but discovered local grocery stores carried only the seedless variety.
