| Coldwater village workers smooth out cement poured this morning for the deck area of the town's new baby pool at Coldwater Memorial Park. The new pool was built due to leaks and other problems with the former one, Village Administrator Eric Thomas said. The pool is sloped to a one-foot depth to the south end. "Sprayground" equipment on the deck area to the north will consist of three different types of sprinklers that spray down, out the side and from the top, and were built by village crews. The entire area will be fenced off from the big pool. Pool manager Bob Miller said the swimming pool is slated to open at 1 p.m. Friday if construction and pool maintenance is finalized and weather permits.
