06-10-04 Cavaliers beaten for first time

   The Flyers improve to 4-2 with the win.
Celina Fire Department Assistant Chief Ken Schoch retired from the position on June 3. Celina Mayor Sharon LaRue is pictured presenting a retirement plaque to Schoch in recognition of his service to the community. Schoch became a full-time firefighter in 1979. He moved up through the ranks from firefighter to lieutenant to assistant chief.<br>dailystandard.com
  Coldwater's Brian Brunswick went into the sixth with an 8-7 lead before giving way to Chad Miller, who allowed four runs and three hits in just a 1/3 of an inning, taking the loss.
  Jeff Wolters pitched two innings in relief of starter Troy Luebke to get the win for the Flyers.
  Chad Geier tripled to lead the Cavaliers (2-1) while Brunswick and Steve Borger each had doubles. Jon Alexander had a triple for Marion Local while Joe Kemper added a double.   The Flyers improve to 4-2 with the win.
