Ann Marie Steinke of St. Marys stirs the first pot of 75 gallons of turtle soup made for the Holy Rosary Festival in St. Marys this weekend. Steinke and her husband, Don, have been making the soup for the festival for nearly two decades. The Steinkes sell the soup by the quart as well as providing it by the bowl for the food tent. The festival runs today from noon to midnight and starts again on Sunday at 1 p.m. and runs through the evening. Purchase this as a quality photograph |
