Celina Fire Department off-duty firefighters volunteered their time and talent this week to put up the new Play-Gym at the East Elementary School playground. The group above are pen pals with East third-graders and occasionally visit the class throughout the school year, sometimes bringing the fire truck for the students' inspection. Firefighters helping include: Bob Schott and sons Ryan and Aaron, Steve Hemmelgarn, Doug Wolters, Mike Bruns and Chris Cline with assistance from company representative Leon Vectirelis of Cleveland and Matt Miller, Celina City Schools director of student services and instruction.
