Minster Mayor Dennis Kitzmiller purchases the first 2004 Minster Oktoberfest button from button chairman Carol Monnier during a ceremony held Thursday evening. Local resident Margie Fortman submitted the winning design which include a wooden shoe, a well-filled beer stein and a German hat. The 30th annual festival, which salutes the proud German heritage of the community and its residents, takes place Oct. 1-3. Purchase this as a quality photograph |
