Gunning for speeders | ||||||||
| ||||||||
A 35-mph speed limit has been extended west of Celina along state Route 29 with the annexation of land to the city. Celina Police Chief Dave Slusser said officers will concentrate on issuing warnings during a one-week grace period. However, anyone flagrantly violating the limit with excessive speed that puts the safety of others in jeopardy faces the possibility of a ticket. A speed trailer, which is currently in use in school zones, will be moved to the area next week to remind motorists. Purchase this as a quality photograph |
