Emergency personnel work at the scene of an accident late Wednesday morning at the intersection of Burrville Road and state Route 219 that injured a Fort Recovery man. The driver of the pickup truck, Larry Sudhoff, 41, 4634 state Route 49, Fort Recovery, was taken by CareFlight helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, from the scene and was listed in good condition this morning with minor injuries. His truck was hit by a manure pumper truck driven by John Kahlig, 46, 1824 Menchhofer Road, Coldwater, who did not claim injury at the scene. According to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office, Sudhoff was eastbound on state Route 219 when Kahlig drove southbound into the intersection and struck the pickup truck. Sudhoff's vehicle came to rest in the cornfield on the southeast corner of the intersection. Emergency crews worked more than 30 minutes to remove Sudhoff from the wreckage.
