A farmer harvests soybeans in a field south of Celina earlier this week. The harvest in Mercer County appears to be a week to two weeks earlier than normal, said Mercer County OSU Extension Agent Todd Mangen this morning. Mangen said overall the crops look pretty good, though he has not yet heard any yield figures. The yield in Mercer County last year for soybeans was 55 to 60 bushels per acre and 150 to 160 bushels per acre for corn, Mangen said. Purchase this as a quality photograph |
