Special honor | ||||||||

Jared Goettemoeller, sixth-grader at St. Henry Middle School, is warming up for Sunday when he'll throw out the first pitch at the Great American Ballpark when the Reds take on the Cubs. Goettemoeller's pulmonologist Dr. Raouf Amin of Cincinnati rents the party deck at the ball park each year for a party for his trachael and ventilator patients. Amin chose Jared to do the honors on the field this year. Ball players visit the kids and distribute goody bags of baseball memorabilia. This marks the third year for Jared, son of Ken and Linda Goettemoeller, and his family to attend the event. Purchase this as a quality photograph |
