Keeping young people aware | ||||||||
| ||||||||
St. Henry Police Chief Bob Garman watches students pull out of the parking lot at St Henry High School Friday afternoon as part of a two-county initiative designed to prevent more teenage traffic fatalities. Ten young people have died in accidents in the Grand Lake St. Marys area this year. Cruisers and uniformed law enforcement officers were stationed at each high school in Mercer and Auglaize counties as part of project R.A.C.E. (Responsible and Careful Every time). Their presence is intended to serve as a visual reminder to drive responsively and use seatbelts. Purchase this as a quality photograph |
