Food donated to CALL pantry | ||||||||
| ||||||||
Tammy Goins, an employee of East of Chicago Pizza in Celina, and CALL Food Pantry volunteer Clyde McCune pack up food the pizza business collected from customers this holiday season to be donated to needy families in the area. CALL (Community Action Life Line) has been distributing food throughout the area for about 20 years, according to its director, the Rev. Ken Baker. About 28 churches, a dozen or more banks and other organizations recently collected the non-perishable foods at their prospective locations. CALL serves about 400 families, approximately 1,100 people, each month, according to Baker. Purchase this as a quality photograph |
