A tree laced with snow and ice glitters through the early morning fog on the Mercer County Courthouse lawn. For the second day in a row, fog blanketed the Grand Lake St. Marys area. There was plenty of snow this January at 14.1 inches, local weather forecaster Dennis Howick reported this morning. The normal snowfall in January is 7.3 inches. Skies are forecasted to be cloudy this week, with no snow in sight, Howick said. Temperatures will reach a high of 29 degrees today, with an overnight low of 16, Howick said.
