| Aaron Fent of A & A Greenhouse of rural Rockford looks over several open buds on Easter lilies for sale at the nursery. Ohio is one of the top four producers of the holiday plant. The large trumpet-like blooms of the Easter lily don't magically appear at Easter time. Growers must do the math -- timing the care of the bulbs with the correct amount of darkness, light, cold and heat to get the plants to the Easter table in full bloom.
