Elaine Pickering of Celina fills the large tank of her Chevrolet Suburban at a local gasoline station. She stopped pumping when the indicator hit $50. At $2.24 per gallon, she would have forked out nearly $90 to top off the tank. Pickering says she won't quit driving her gas guzzler because she likes the extra space.
