| A farmer along state Route 703 prepares his soil for planting recently. Farmers throughout the area have gotten an early start on planting due to the warm weather and dry conditions. Temperatures are soaring above normal for April, with local weather forecaster Dennis Howick predicting a high of 81 degrees today.
