Cleaning up | ||||||||
| ||||||||
With temperatures soaring to a sultry 92 degrees Thursday, a few members of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina thought a car wash would be a good way to stay cool and raise money for a good cause. Jimmy Mallory, 18, washes a car for donations toward an August mission trip to Grenada, South America. Also helping with the car wash were Tesia Sheffield, 17, Lynn Mescher, 23, and Lauren Smalley, 13. More fund-raisers are planned for the future, the church members said.
