A turkey vulture takes flight along Grand Lake this week before landing near the water in search of food. About a dozen of the black-feathered species with red heads were perched along Lake Shore Drive on Tuesday morning. The odd-looking creatures with wingspans up to six feet, looked slightly out of place among the heron and seagulls. Purchase this as a quality photograph |
