Mary Stienecker receives a flu shot from the comfort of her car during a clinic held by the Auglaize County Health Department at the fairgrounds in Wapakoneta on Monday. Nurses offered the "drive-thru" vaccinations to those who found it difficult to walk-in. This week, the Ohio Department of Health released their supply of flu vaccinations to the local agencies who previously purchased their own from private companies. The Auglaize County department will again give flu shots on Monday at the Council on Aging in St. Marys from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The Mercer County Health Department is offering walk-in immunizations each Thursday and a flu shot clinic from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Central Services Building in Celina. The vaccinations are available to anyone over 6-months-old after Oct. 24. Purchase this as a quality photograph |
