Celina firefighter/paramedic Steve Hemmelgarn watches as a Celina High School student practices the effective use of a fire extinguisher. Firefighters presented a series of safety programs and practice sessions Tuesday for upperclassmen. They will return in the spring to promote the use of smoke detectors to seniors heading off to college dorms.
