Clay Elking demonstrates the science project he calls Swurl & Hurl on Monday afternoon at the Celina Intermediate School. He was explaining his model amusement park ride as part of the sixth-grade Forces of Motion study unit. The assignment called for a model ride that worked and used Newton's three laws of motion. The end result of the 89 students in cluster one, taught by Sandy Braun, was 65 single student and partnership projects.
