| Issue Index 01-10-06 High School bowlers get back into action | By Coldwater remained in first place in the boys varsity division, and a matchup for second place was set up for next week as the West Ohio High School Bowling Conference resumed action after the holiday break at Community Lanes in Minster on Sunday.
Coldwater stayed perfect at 7-0 while a pair of Redskins in Wapakoneta and St. Henry share second at 6-1. Those two teams will meet next week. Dan Ruck of Wapak rolled a pair of 200-plus games on Sunday, earning high-game honors with a 258 and a 221. Wapak teammate Brian Garman rolled a 247. In the varsity girls standings, Wapak stayed unbeaten at 8-0 while St. Henry was a game back in second at 7-1. Coldwater dropped back into third after falling to St. Henry in head-to-head action. Wapak's Jacque Segovia led all lady bowlers with a 210 game. Redskin teammate Alyssa Krisher rolled a 200 while Parkway's Ashleigh Garrison missed a 200 by a single pin with a 199. This Sunday's varsity action will take place at Pla-Mor Lanes in Coldwater.
