03-17-06 Fell finds new job with a new Bulldogs

By

   Compiled by Ryan Hines

While Celina is still in the early stages of searching for a new football coach, the former coach for the Green and White has already found a new home.

Oddly enough it's with another school with the mascot of Bulldogs, as Mike Fell is expected to be hired by Ada just 13 days after he was told that his contract would not be renewed at Celina.

It's the third head coaching job for Fell of a school with the Bulldog mascot as the veteran gridiron mentor spent 10 years with Columbus Grove before his six-year stay at Celina.  Fell will be replacing Jeff Lease, whose contract was not renewed after his 4-16 mark in two years at Ada.

Ada plays in the Northwest Conference, a league which Fell is familiar with considering his first head coaching job was at Columbus Grove, also in the NWC. Fell was 75-30 while with Columbus Grove and had four trips to the postseason.

Fell was just 25-35 during his tenure at Celina.
