The festival continues today and Sunday on the Mendon school grounds. Rides open at 11 a.m. today, followed by a karaoke contest at 1 p.m., stick donkey races at 5 p.m., hot dog eating contest at 6 p.m., pie baking contest at 7:30 p.m. and Sharon Bertke singing country at 8 p.m.
Rides open at noon Sunday. An antique garden and tractor pull begins at 12:30 p.m., followed by ball games at 1 p.m., kids games at 2 p.m. and a school open house from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. The festival also includes many other activities, food stands and bingo.
