    Saturday, Santa Claus doled out suckers and taffy at Lake Loramie State Park. Their first Christmas in July celebration went over well according to state park volunteers. Events included lighting of the tree, chalk Christmas cards, a pinata, caroling and a "Santa Hop Dance.""

  At right, Alyssa Wilkins, 7, accepts a treat from Mrs. Claus, played by Carol Fisher, during a Christmas in July Ice Cream Social at Miller House, 1506 Meadowview Drive, Celina last week. Alyssa is visiting her grandma and enjoying the celebration.
