| | The U.S. 127 Yard Sale, the World's Longest Yard Sale, begins today from north of Van Wert to Alabama. In Celina, the Adkins and Lightfoot families start their sale at the corner of Lake Shore Drive and U.S. 127. According to the Auglaize and Mercer Counties Convention and Visitors Bureau, over 40 vendors are set up at York Woods, Darke County; over 15 at Niekamp's Farm and Flea Market, rural Celina; and more at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds. The bureau fielded over 50 calls the past two days concerning the sale, which runs through Sunday.
