Oct. 9 - Marion Local Schools property tax for operational cost.

Oct. 2 - Auglaize County commissioner. The seat of retiring Ivo Kramer is being sought by Republican Don Regula and Democrat Brent Henschen.
Oct. 25 - Auglaize County coroner, being sought by incumbent Republican Thomas Freytag and Democrat Deron Horman.
Mercer County
Oct. 13 - Mercer County Council on Aging property tax for elderly citizen services
Oct. 18 - Two Mercer County commissioner seats. • The seat of incumbent Republican Bob Nuding is being contested by Democrat Kip Wright, and • Incumbent Republican John Bruns is being challenged by Independent Rick Muhlenkamp.
Oct. 20 - Mercer County clerk of courts, being sought by incumbent Democrat James Highley and Republican Anita Huber.
Oct. 21 - Mercer County treasurer, being sought by incumbent Republican Doris Rutschilling and Democrat Rick Mosier.
Community Issues and Levies
Oct. 13 - La Carreta and Chiefs in Celina seeking Sunday sales of liquor.
Oct. 14 - Montezuma Village tax for payment of a lighting district.
Oct. 16 - Local fire protection levies, which include property taxes in Franklin Township, Blackcreek Township, unincorporated Jefferson Township and the village of Rockford.
• Oct. 17 - East Jefferson referendum, which allows those residents to vote on increasing the height limit for industrial structures from 45 to 125 feet.
State School Board
Oct. 15 - District 1 State Board of Education seat, being sought by Ann Jacobs and Tracey Smith.
U.S. House of Representatives
Oct. 22 - District 4 U.S. House Rep., being sought by incumbent Republican Jim Jordan and Democrat Mike Carroll.
Oct. 23District 8 U.S. House Rep., being sought by incumbent Republican John Boehner and Democrat Nicholas Vonstein.
Nov. 1 - District 5 U.S. House Rep., being sought by incumbent Republican Bob Latta and Democrat George Mays.
State Legislature
Oct. 24 - 12th District State Sen., being sought by incumbent Republican Keith Faber, Democrat Thomas Matthew and Independent Jack Kaffenberger Sr.
State Issues
Oct. 27 - Issue I, a yes vote provides earlier filing deadlines for statewide ballot issues.
Oct. 28 - Issue II, a yes vote authorizes the state to issue bonds to continue the Clean Ohio program.
Oct. 29 - Issue III, a yes vote amends the constitution to protect the rights of landowners to make reasonable use of water that runs through a property.
Oct. 30 - Issue V, a yes vote caps the interest rates on payday lending loans and limits the number of loans customers can take out.
Oct. 31 - Issue VI, a yes vote allows for a $600 million casino in southwest Ohio.
