NOTICE OF APPLICATION
FOR VARIANCE AND PUBLIC MEETING
Notice is hereby given that an application for variance has been submitted to the Coldwater Board of Zoning Appeals by Greg Bruns, for the property located at 705 E. Main Street, Coldwater, Ohio.
Applicant requests Variance to Section 500 - Lot and Yard Requirements of Zoning Ordinance No. 1586 for the Village Coldwater for the said property. The owner is proposing a detached garage 26' x 40' that will encroach on the back yard set back by 30'.
The Board of Planning and Zoning Appeals may not act upon this request prior to notification of adjacent property owners. Any such property owner may submit written objections to the office of the Village Manager at 610 West Sycamore Street, Coldwater, Ohio 45828. Written objections must be received prior to the Board of Appeals meeting at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Any person may attend this public meeting and speak for or against this application.
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Commissioners of Mercer County, Ohio, until 11:15 A.M. on June 5, 2018, at the office of the Mercer County Commissioners located at 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, Ohio, 45822 for Center Line, Edge Line and Auxiliary Line Pavement Marking for Various Mercer County Roads and all work incidental thereto in accordance with the specifications therefor.
Bids will be opened at 11:15 A.M., June 5, 2018, in the Office of the County Commissioners.
Each bid package must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The bid guaranty shall be in the form of either:
1. A bond for the full amount of the bid, or
2. A certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Upon entering a contract, a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project will be required.
As this is a federally funded project, all bids shall meet all applicable federal requirements.
A completed bid blank should be submitted on the project.
All bidders must be currently on ODOT'S list of pre-approved contractors.

Award of Contract will be made on the basis of the total lump sum bid submitted.
The Board of Commissioners of Mercer County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities when the same are to the advantage of the County.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the County of Mercer will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. in the Mercer County Commissioner's Office, Central Services Building, 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, Ohio.
Based on both citizen input and local officials' assessment of the county's and communities' needs, the county is proposing to undertake the following Revolving Loan Fund activities:
The county intends to loan the amount of $175,000 to Moeller Brew Barn/Wright Moeller Investments, LLC for building improvements/expansion and purchase equipment. Moeller Brew Barn will create 10 FTE jobs, of which 6 will be offered to or made available to LMI persons; which meets the National Objective.
The total project cost will be $1,700,000 with funds coming from Revolving Loan Fund of $175,000; Midwest Electric RLF of $150,000; Equity $100,000 and Private Lender $1,275,000.
The county also intends to loan the amount of $25,000 to K-9 Clubhouse, LLC for building an expansion to their facility and purchase equipment. K-9 Clubhouse, LLC will create 1 FTE job, which will be offered to or made available to LMI persons; which meets the National Objective.
The total project cost will be $291,290.87 with funds coming from Revolving Loan Fund of $25,000; Equity $30,290.87 and Private Lender $236,000.
This second public hearing is being held to give citizens an adequate opportunity to review and comment on the county's proposed applications, before the loans are approved.

The St. Henry Village Council has passed the following:
Ordinance 1049 - authorizing the Mayor and Fiscal Officer to enter into utility easement purchase agreements for installation of sanitary sewers, water mains, storm drains, storm sewers, and other public utilities, appropriating sufficient funds therefore.

The Village of Burkettsville, Ohio, is offering for sale a 2006 Cub Cadet lawn mower and attachments by sealed bids. Said mower has 638 operational hours, bears model #GT3200 with a 60-inch cut and a 4-foot snowblower. Said mower is being sold in "as is" condition.
