The Mercer Township Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on February 5, 2018, a 6:00 P.M., at the Jefferson Township House, 7171 Havemann Road, Celina, Ohio. The Commission will hear an application to amend the zoning map to change the zoning classification of a parcel of 9.936 acres owned by Celina American Legion Post 210, located at 2510 State Route 703, Celina, Ohio 45822, located in Section 5 of Township 6 South, Range 3 East, Jefferson Township, Mercer County, Ohio. The property is presently zoned Special Parks (SPI) and the applicant proposes to rezone the property High Density Residential (R-3).
The application will be available for public inspection at the office of the Mercer County Commission, 220 West Livingston Street, Celina, Ohio 45822, from January 18, 2018, until the date of the hearing.
At the conclusion of the hearing the matter will be submitted to the Mercer County Commission for further hearing.

The Franklin Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing to consider the application for a Variance on the 15th day of January, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. at the Franklin Township House, 6805 St. Rt. 219, Celina. The application, submitted by Chris Brockman, requests a variance of the eight feet required side yard setbacks, to move an existing building from its present location. He is applying for a variance of 3' 6" at the narrowest edge tapering to 6'6", for the property located at 6650 Elm Drive, Celina, Ohio.
The Washington Township Zoning Board of Appeals will have a variance permit hearing for the Florence LaRue Estate on January 9, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Township hall located at 1474 St. Anthony Road, Coldwater, Ohio. The Florence LaRue estate would like to apply for a 50 foot road frontage instead of the 200 foot road frontage that is required by Washington Township for the property located at 1056 Schroeder Road, Celina, Ohio.

PROPOSED ZONING CHANGE
The Franklin Township Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed amendment to the Franklin Township Zoning Map. The proposed amendment was submitted by the Franklin Township Board of Trustees, and proposes to change the zoning classification of an approximately 6.956 acre parcel in Section 20 of Township 6 South, Range 3 East, with an address of Marina Drive, Celina, Ohio 45822.
The hearing will be held January 89, 2018, at 7:30 P.M. at the Franklin Township House, 6805 State Route 219, Celina, Ohio 45822.
Following is a list of the owners of these properties, as they appear on the county auditor's current tax list, of all properties to be rezoned by the proposed amendment.

The present zoning classification of the property in the proposed amendments is Residential Medium Density (R-2). The proposed zoning reclassification of the property is Recreational/Commercial (RC).
The resolution to amend the Zoning Map will be available for public examination for a period of at least ten days from December 21, 2017, to January 9, 2018, at the office of the Mercer County Commission, 220 West Livingston Street, Celina, Ohio 45822.
