| Marion Local High School marching band hosted the 30th annual Midwest Ohio Marching Band Competition on Saturday. Bands from Fort Recovery, Troy, New Bremen, Celina, Bellefontaine and Mentor were judged on music, marching, general effect and auxiliary units. Marion Local and New Bremen bands received superior ratings, qualifying them to perform in the state marching competition, and Celina and Fort Recovery received excellent ratings.
