| Participants in the ninth annual CROP Walk leave Bremenfest Park in New Bremen on Sunday afternoon to raise money to feed the hungry. More than a hundred people, ranging in age from babies in strollers to adults in tennis shoes, covered the 4-mile course. Planners hope the money collected will surpass the $5,000 goal. Sponsoring organizations include Immanuel United Church of Christ in Kettlersville and The Church of the Holy Redeemer, St. Peter United Church of Christ and St. Paul United Church of Christ, all of New Bremen. |
