                  The Grand Lake Area will be well-represented next week at district 
                  wrestling tournaments after a total of 34 wrestlers advanced 
                  from sectional action on Saturday. 
                  The Celina MatDogs continued their success at the Division I 
                  sectional at Oregon Clay on Saturday, sending seven wrestlers 
                  onto the districts starting Friday at Perrysburg. 
                  The Gray families will be represented as brothers Garrett and 
                  Nick Gray will join cousin Adam Gray at Perrysburg. Garrett 
                  Gray placed second in the 145-pound division at Clay while Adam 
                  placed fourth at 152 and Nick fourth at 130 pounds. 
                  Trent Hellwarth was the only winner for Celina on the day, winning 
                  the 189-pound title at Clay. Other Celina qualifiers include 
                  Jantzen Hinton, who placed fourth at 160 pounds, Patrick Bailey 
                  — who took fourth at 125 pounds, and Kiel Hawk who picked 
                  up the fourth spot at 119 pounds. 
                  The Celina grapplers head to Perrysburg for the start of districts 
                  at 4 p.m. on Friday with the second round and championship rounds 
                  starting at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. 
                  DIVISION III at Allen East 
                  It will be a full bus for the Cavaliers as a record 10 wrestlers 
                  will advance to the Xenia districts on Friday. The Cavaliers 
                  placed third at the meet in the team standings behind Bluffton 
                  and Spencerville. 
                  Chuck Alig’s squad boasted two champions on Saturday as 
                  Brian Uhlenhake took home the 171-pound title and Craig Homan 
                  won the 275-pound title. 
                  Picking up second-place showings for Coldwater were Bryce Schlater 
                  at 135 pounds and Travis Kunk at 160 pounds. Third-place efforts 
                  went to Kenny Platfoot (112), Marty Hemmelgarn (125), Andy Schmidt 
                  (145), Kyle Uhlenhake (189) and Kyle Oswalt (215). 
                  Senior Chris Vogel also qualified for districts at 152 by placing 
                  fourth. 
                  The Xenia district meet will start Friday at 3 p.m. with Saturday’s 
                  action starting at 10 a.m. 
                  DIVISION III at Covington 
                  Versailles, a powerhouse in the Southwest District, will also 
                  have a full bus with 11 wrestlers — out of 14 weight classes 
                  — making the trip to Xenia as well. 
                  The Tigers took the team title by an easy 225-167 margin over 
                  runner-up Miami East. 
                  Winning championships on Saturday were David Bernholt (119), 
                  John Schmitmeyer (160) and Mark Keiser (215). Runner-up medals 
                  were given to Anton Henry (140), Eric Strausbaugh (171) and 
                  Eli Oliver (275). 
                  Earning third place on Saturday were Trent Barga (125), Kyle 
                  Kueterman (130), Jared Henderson (152) and Alex Davis (189). 
                  Russ Bisner (145) earned fourth place. 
                  DIVISION II at Fostoria 
                  St. Marys will send six wrestlers to the district meet at Galion 
                  after the team placed fourth in the team standings. Wapakoneta 
                  edged out Van Wert for first place. 
                  The Roughrider lightweights continued to shine. Caleb Cisco 
                  won the 103-pound title as younger brother Josh won the 112-pound 
                  title. Adam Maze led the second-place finishes by taking second 
                  at 119 pounds while Kyle Silver placed second at 152 pounds. 
                   
                  Third-place honors went to Daryl Mabry at 130 pounds while Matt 
                  Taylor (275) placed fourth to earn the final spot to district.
