WRESTLING
Scoring errors corrected from Lions
The Lions Invitational had to do some trading of trophies and medals after scoring errors made during the meet created new placings for several teams.
The biggest came at second and third place as Coldwater and Versailles flip-flopped with the Cavaliers taking second with 195 points and Versailles third with 191.
The error came in the giving of points to unattached wrestlers, wrestlers from a school who are not part of the scoring team and are in to fill a void.
Coldwater benefited from the point change, as did Olentangy Liberty, who moved from ninth to eighth due to the points.
The postseason for wrestling begins this Saturday with sectional action around the state.
